Packing

The used clothing products for Africa are carefully packed in small bales and woven polypropylene bags. We offer our standard product compositions in the most common 45kg or 55kg but other options are also available by request.

Weight: 45kg or 55kg (contact us for other sizes)

Size of a box bag: 80 x 48 x 30 cm (it takes 2 box bags to form a bale. The thickness of the bale depends on the type of baled products)

Material: Woven polypropylene

Aplication: The small bales are used for most of the second hand clothes for Africa. They are a great way to optimize the loading space and the weight of the container while receiving a product in a shape and form for easy storage and quantity management.

Weight: 25kg (based on the products’ specifics could be adjusted to 20, 15, 10 or 5 kg)

Size of a shoe bag: 75 x 130 cm

Material: Woven polypropylene

Aplication: The shoe bags are used mainly for items that are not suitable for baling like used shoes, handbags and belts

Loading and Transport

Our logistics expert will provide you with the best solution for the transport of your containers in terms of pricing and/or shipping time.

Depending on the packing list of choice your bales with used clothes can be well loaded in a 20 ft or 40 ft (HC) container. We always make sure to stuff the container the best possible way maximizing the loading capacity.

General Terms

We’ve earned loyal customers on 4 continents not only with our consistent quality but also by doing business with clear terms. You know exactly what to expect when you work with us at any given moment.

Here are the usual steps we go through:

  • You pick the best suited product composition of 20’ or 40’ container with 45 kg or 55 kg bales. If you need something specific just contact us and let us know how we can help you;
  • We discuss the product composition and agree upon the final packing list taking into account slight adjustments if any;
  • We issue a proforma invoce totaling the full value of the container;
  • You have to make at least a 50% advanced payment in order to start preparing your container;
  • Usually it takes 2 to 3 weeks to prepare a standard 40 ft (HC) product composition, depending on the current products’ demand and sorting facility workload;
  • Upon loading you are presented with scanned copies of the Final Invoice, Invoice Breakdown, Balance, Detailed Packing List and a Draft of the B/L for you to confirm;
  • You make the balance payment according to the reviewed and confirmed documents;
  • We send you all the physical copies of the documents after we have received the balance payment.
